Yemen is lacking a lot of key ingrediants for a fun multiplayer map including freedom to choose how to play. This creates very tedious gameplay that Black Ops 2 should be without. It's easy to die without seeing your killer unless you look into every window and alleyway. According to a well-known leaker, this will not be changing next Season. Call of Duty®: Black Ops II Uprising, the latest downloadable content pack, includes four incredibly diverse Multiplayer Maps, including the return of a re-imagined Multiplayer classic: Magma: Lava carving through a modern Japanese village leaves rivers of fiery damage in its wake, providing players with dangerous terrain, compromised cover, and frenetic firefights for survival. There are some narrow streets and walkways, but the majority is building-to-building sniping. Across all the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Seasons, players have seen Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 maps added to the game. Yemen also lacks any sort of balance as it's the only map I can remember that's played in only one fashion. This might be perfect for assault rifle and sniper rifle players, but for SMG and shotgun players it's not a good thing.

As you can see, the map is cluttered with building upon building and not exactly a lot of free space to run around in. When looking at the map above, you can see the many squares representing houses, buildings and stores. The buildings are Yemen's biggest downfall and the main deterrent for wanting to play this map. In Yemen you cannot walk five feet without running into a building someone could be hiding in. If you are responsible for one of the above issues. The OP Quickscoping, ridiculous side arms, shotgun range, Assault Shield, LMG Target Finder and C4 spam made that game almost unplayable.
